ClaimScope and other VA claim tools

Several companies now use AI to help Veterans with VA claims. Here is how they compare on the things Veterans ask us about most: price, what you get free, whether they write documents for you, accreditation and what happens to your records. Each fact comes from that company's own website, with a link, as of October 26, 2026.

Why we don't write your claim for a fee

Federal law limits who may prepare VA claims for pay, and when. ClaimScope LLC isn't VA-accredited, so we don't charge to write or file anything for you. Our paid reviews analyze your records. Filling in VA forms is free: you pick the issues and the review option, confirm every field and file them yourself. Personal and buddy statement tools are free too, and our free doctor packet gives your doctor the evidence and questions but never a prewritten opinion.

Free and accredited help

Accredited Veterans Service Officers help for free, and you can find one near you. Accredited attorneys and claims agents may charge only after VA's first decision on a claim, usually a share of past-due benefits; VA presumes a fee of 20 percent or less is reasonable. ClaimScopeLaw, Gabe's separate law firm, offers a free 30-minute call to any Veteran, whether or not you use ClaimScope.
