ClaimScope for Veterans

Free · official directories

Find your county veterans service officer.

Every state has accredited service officers who help Veterans file claims, gather records and appeal decisions, free of charge. Pick your state and we’ll send you to the official list of offices near you.

Find my office

Free, by law

Accredited service officers can’t charge you. Counties and states pay them to help Veterans and families with VA benefits.

VA-accredited

They’re accredited by VA’s Office of General Counsel, can file claims for you and can be named your representative on VA Form 21-22.

Local and in person

Many states have an office in or near every county. They know the local VA clinics, examiners and regional office.

Not ClaimScope

ClaimScope isn’t a VSO and has no arrangement with any office listed here. These links go to official state and VA sites.

We’ll point you to your state’s official list of offices. Nothing you pick here is sent to ClaimScope.

About this page. ClaimScope lists these offices as a public service and gets nothing from them. We don’t vouch for any individual office, and nothing here is legal advice or creates an attorney-client relationship. A service officer and ClaimScope can work on the same claim: many Veterans use both.
